Refund Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Our promise is simple: the upgrade passes your tests and build, or you get your money back.

Full refund

You get a full refund of the order price if:

  • The tests or build don't pass. The delivered pull request fails your test suite or build, we can't fix it within 10 business days of you telling us, and you don't want to keep waiting. "Your test suite" means the tests as they ran on the day of the scan. Tests that already failed then, or that need network access or services we weren't given, are listed in the scan report and don't count.
  • You reject it. Within 14 days of delivery, and before merging, you decide not to use the pull request, for any reason. Just tell us.
  • We don't deliver. We haven't delivered within twice the delivery estimate in your scan report, and you ask to cancel. (Time spent waiting for your answers or access doesn't count.)
  • You cancel before we start. Any time before we begin work.
  • We decline the order. For example, if the code turns out to be materially different from what was scanned.

Free fixes for 30 days

If you find a problem caused by our changes within 30 days of merging the pull request, tell us and we fix it free, usually within 5 business days. This covers bugs our changes introduced. It doesn't cover problems that existed before the upgrade, new features, or changes you made after delivery.

What isn't refunded

  • Orders where the pull request passes the agreed tests and build, and you reject it more than 14 days after delivery or after merging it.
  • Problems caused by your server, hosting or deployment, or by code changed after delivery.
  • Keep Current months already started. You can cancel any time; the plan stops at the end of the month.

How to ask

Email hello@unstale.dev with your order number and what went wrong (for test failures, the test output). We reply within 1 business day. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
